EQ for the Rational Brain in Business

We are not rational beings that feel, we are emotional beings that think. 

We address the stereotypes about what rational people are allowed to say or do when it comes to the business of emotions. The belief that emotions in business equates with weakness, unproductivity, and lack of control is incorrect. These beliefs are historically rooted, maintained by our institutions and embedded in the fabric of many organizational cultures. 

EQ for the Rational brain is a business need, not an emotional need. The human-brain is a remarkable information processing system that by design, is always connecting the dots. It absorbs about 11 million pieces of information per second and about 80% of this information is emotional and instinctual. It’s time to change the status quo of what great leadership means. Contrary to popular belief, “rational leadership” is limited leadership. We believe it’s time to find the courage to challenge the limitations of stereotypes that cause harm and instead, ramp up the power of EQ.

Our program is designed to debunk myths and to support rationally-oriented individuals who wish to hone the following emotional capacities:

  • Awareness of one’s own and others’ emotions

  • Harness the power of EQ to build healthy relationship with all stakeholders

  • Master emotion regulation (emotions aren’t the problem, it’s how we’ve learned to respond to emotions that creates issues)
